Morph
Music has always been a huge inspiration in my life. The different layers of instruments and vocals working and colliding together harmoniously, creates melodies that speaks and moves people. As a dancer myself, I realise that dancers are like the embodiments of those melodies, they translate music into actions, narratives and feeling. This project aims to portray what music feels to dancers.
Instead of focusing on the physical body of dancers, I chose to use slow shutter to illustrate and accentuate the movements, allowing the music to take a physical form on its own.
